THEOPHANIA is born with a vocation that extends beyond the time and space of the Foligno exhibition.
The relationship originating from the Chartula of Assisi and entrusted to Giorgio Lupattelli’s artistic research opens a cultural trajectory destined to develop through different forms of knowledge and sharing.
The exhibition itinerary at Palazzo Trinci is its first public manifestation. Around it, editorial, sound and educational activities take shape, together with the building of relationships with museums, universities, cultural institutions and research centres.
A source generates a work; the work generates new relationships; the relationships allow the project to continue its journey.

The digital environment is set up to host video, audio, interviews, backstage and content dedicated to the exhibition, the artist, the curatorship and the sources. In R0.1 only the materials already available and approved are published; the archive may grow progressively together with the project.
Sound contribution
A tribute to Gianandrea Gavazzeni
Alongside the exhibition dimension, THEOPHANIA includes a tribute to Maestro Gianandrea Gavazzeni on the thirtieth anniversary of his passing, developed with the contribution of Denia Gavazzeni Mazzola, of the Ab Harmoniae ETS Association and of Maestro Pieralberto Cattaneo.
Scuola Italiana
The editorial project
Conceived and directed by Gianluca Marziani within the cultural activities promoted by Scrinium, Scuola Italiana is born as a permanent space for reflection dedicated to the most significant expressions of Italian contemporary art.
The first issue will be presented on 4 October 2026 at Palazzo Merulana in Rome, on the occasion of the finissage of the exhibition dedicated to Nicola Pucci, and will feature a special dedicated to Giorgio Lupattelli in the Ad Memoriam section. Dialoghi virtuosi tra antico e futuro.
